A website needs to explain what you do and make the next step easy. For a restaurant, that might mean finding the menu. For a nonprofit, it might mean understanding the work and getting involved.

I handle the build and the technical setup with you. You don't have to learn a site builder or figure out the hosting yourself. After launch, you've got a person to contact when something needs changing.

I've built Tony's Pizzeria's public website and the staff scheduling tools behind it. Other work includes websites for Las Tortuguitas and The Sterling Foundation, plus a casita configurator prototype.

A simple website starts at $1,000 for the build, with hosting and ongoing care priced separately. A lower upfront option starts at $500 plus $150/month. We agree on what's included and the ongoing terms in your quote.

The number of pages is only part of the scope. A site that explains your business and takes inquiries is a different build from one that needs booking or a customer account. Those features affect the quote, along with any outside services the site needs.

You can keep your domain when moving to a new website. I review the pages and features you use, then work out what to carry over and what needs rebuilding. We can keep a design you like or change it as part of the project.

The changeover includes checking the old page addresses and redirecting them where needed. If your email uses the same domain, we plan around that too. We'll agree on the move before changing the live site.

A link to your current site, a short description of your business, and the main thing you want the new site to improve are enough to start. If there's a launch date or an existing system it needs to work with, include that too.
