I'm Griffin Salvador

I'm the developer behind Crest Systems in Albuquerque. I build websites and software, from a first site to the tools a business runs on.

Building since I was 17

I started a Minecraft server at 17 and learned to build the features I wanted for it in Java. Running that server meant writing software that other people actually used, and fixing it when something broke.

I kept building throughout my computer science degree at the University of New Mexico. Alongside the server and its plugins, I worked on sports betting models in Python.

I completed graduate coursework through UNM's shared-credit program while earning my computer science degree. I was later accepted into the master's program, but decided to focus on building software independently.

Why I started Crest Systems

AI development tools have changed how much I can build as one person. I use them in my work to move faster and take on more complete projects. I'm still the person making the technical decisions and checking what ships.

That opened up the kind of work I wanted to do: custom software for people who couldn't previously justify the cost. Sometimes that's a straightforward website. Sometimes it's bringing the software a business runs on into one system that fits how people work.

Working directly with me

You talk to the person who builds and maintains your software. We start with what you need, work out a scope, and stay in touch as I build it. Simple websites and more complicated ideas are both welcome.

I'm based in Albuquerque and can meet local clients in person. We can work remotely if you're elsewhere.

Once we're working together, you can email or text me when you need help. I respond within 1–2 business days.
